It has up to 90% radiation reduction compared to most older film-based systems. The Images are captured instantly with a digital sensor, which lessens the time you spend in the dental chair. The image clarity increases our team’s ability to diagnose and treat conditions. Additionally, software tools bring detailed magnification and detection tools into focus.

How Digital X-rays work

To begin, the x-ray machine is lowered from above and adjusted for you. A sensor or scanner is placed in the mouth that sends images directly to the computer for viewing in an instant. In just a few minutes, the dentist can use digital software to enhance details of the images. This will allow them to better show and explain areas that need treatment.
